Hey there!
 
I can hardly contain my excitement at the moment as today Greg and I are jumping on the plane and heading home to London.  So by the time you are reading this we’ll be at around 38,000 ft, give or take!
 
I have to say after 4 months on the road I am missing my own bed and looking forward to putting the suitcases in the cupboard (at least for two weeks!)  Even for a gypsy like me you need to unpack every now and then.
 
That said, the last 4 months have been a very productive time in terms of business.  I am a firm believer that if you want to expand the opportunities available to you, get on a plane and change city!  What seems par for the course in your home town, is a great asset to someone on the other side of the world.
 
The networks that I have in London are good for my colleagues in London, but priceless for my colleagues in Australia looking to break into the London market.  So if your horizons are looking a little narrow- my suggestion: Get on a Plane!
 
But today- it’s time to head home, unpack and relax for a bit.  The double decker buses, black cabs and summer time in the parks of London await.  Yay!
 
So, before I head off, I have one last message, inspired by a city that certainly knows how to stand out…

As a speaker it is important that you stand out from the crowd, just as the Sydney Harbour Bridge stands out from all the other bridges in the world.

Have a look at your competition - how are you making yourself different?

Here's an example... we recently attended an Armand Morin Training in LA and we met  a guy who looked just like Mozart - down to his hair and the way he dressed. He calls himself "The Mozart Marketer". He's a speaker and he really stands out, people don't forget him after they meet him.

Think about it - what can you do to stand out in your niche?

You don't need to dress up like Mozart or do something crazy. But think about "what can I do to make myself more memorable as a speaker?"
