What an exciting week this last one has been.  Phew!  We wrapped up our Aussie tour with our final 1 day Presentation Secrets events in Melbourne and Sydney.

For all those who attended- thanks!  You are so inspiring… I’ve been on a high since then thrilled at the great businesses that you’re all building.  And judging by the responses we’ve been getting in the inbox you benefitted from the day immensely.

On a personal note, this week Greg and I have returned back to Melbourne.  Most of Greg’s family are here and we’re enjoying spending some time with them.  Plus my sister Kath and her husband AJ are now here too (you’ll remember her- she’s the one who was working in a bakery in France!) 

It’s brilliant to have a cuddle of my sis again- and we’re chatting with her about how to set up her nifty little baking business.  She makes the best lemon polenta cake ever!  Mmmmmm….
 
Well- that said- enjoy the tips this week.  It’s all about setting up your seminar room for excellence and sales…

Setting Up Your Room for Excellence

Here are some important things to consider when setting up your room for a seminar.

• Have your chairs layed out in a herringbone style, with a nice wide aisle that allows you to move up and down to connect with everyone in the audience.
• Have your AV desk set up at the back of the room, and speakers set up at the front of the room as far forward as possible, while facing toward the audience.
• Set up your service/enrollment table near the door so people have to walk past on their way out at breaks. This acts as a great visual anchor.
• Have all your chairs set up very accurately spaced and in line with each other so everything in the room looks superb, and everyone feels included and part of the group.

Remember: There is no detail too small when setting up your room!

What a blast we have been having on the teleseminar series we have been running. Last night was the third in our series of calls where I reveal the steps we took to go from nothing to $500k in our speaking business in 3 months. We've been sharing the key things that allowed us to accelerate our results.
